The carrier template import allows you to add new carriers or update existing carriers in bulk to your Shipper Guide carrier network.

To download the template file:
1. On your left dashboard, click Carriers.
2. On the Carrier Management page, click EXPORT CARRIERS.
The template file will be downloaded and saved to your computer under the filename “Carriers Template”.
To format the template file:
Open the carrier template file and reference the accepted formats and required/optional fields below while filling out the template.
The existing carriers’ information will be on the template file if you have carriers on your network.
Important: Please do not change the column header names as it will prevent the system from matching the correct fields to import carriers’ information.

To upload the template file:
1. After filling out the carrier template, save the template as a CSV file.
2. Navigate back to the Carrier Management page, and click ADD CARRIERS > Import Carriers (.csv).
3. A pop-up window will appear to confirm if you would like to continue to import new carriers/update existing ones. Click and select the updated carrier template file.
New carriers will be added, and changes to existing carriers will be updated to your carrier network.
Important: The system only accepts .csv file types. An error message will trigger if the template is not a .csv file. Also, an error message will trigger if required cells are empty or contain incorrect formatting.
